Are you looking for a tool to help you communicate with students and parents digitally?

One of the best tools we have used over the past 7 years to build up youth ministry media on social media is to use a scheduling tool. If you don’t schedule your posts, you are not using social media effectively.

Here is a great program. It’s called CoSchedule.

What it is:

CoSchedule helps you manage a single publishing calendar that serves as the blueprint for your events, content, social, and more. Get visibility into how everything interacts, overlaps, and supports your goals at a glance—confirming your team is working on the right priorities at the right time.

Making quick changes to integrated promotional campaigns is easier than ever! Simply drag and drop your project to a new day and everything associated with it will automatically sync to its new time.

What it does:

CoSchedule helps you post on Social Media with one calendar. You can see it in action here.

You can reschedule things easily. With the click of a button you and reschedule or repost something on social media.

You can post to Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter.

You can add people to your social media team, and allow them to create posts or content.

Why we like CoSchedule:

  1. CoSchedule is a great program that we have been using for the past few years. It’s constantly being developed, and it makes it easier to post content online. You can see the content creator below.

2. You can post things in calendar mode.  This is a lifesaver.  I still love hootsuite, but this simple feature changes the way you can schedule posts and manage what your whole team is posting and when.

3. Easy to use.  I love how simple the interface is.  You can easily set it up, and schedule your posts, or repost old content.  It’s a simple way to get your message out to as many people as possible. It’s the easiest I have ever seen for social media. You don’t have to be a hacker to know what you are doing.

4. You can set up tasks for your team.  You can set up task and assign them to different team members.  Love that this is integrated into this program. Delegate tasks to your whole team.

Things we don’t love about CoSchedule

1. The price.  I don’t love the pay structure(it used to be cheaper), but if you could sell your church on it, you could use this program in your youth ministry for free. I know we all have limited budgets, but this is one tool that can help you level up your Instagram, and Facebook game.

With all that said, the CoSchedule program is worth it.  I tried it out for 14 days, and I purchased it after the two weeks were over because I felt like I needed it.  Initially, I didn’t know if I needed a program like this that was going to cost me $19 dollars a month, but it’s worth every penny.   Check it out today!
