What program do you use to deal with email?

About a year ago I downloaded the Mailbox app for my iPhone, and just burned through all my email in all my different email boxes.  The Mailbox app has quickly changed my emailing habits, and has helped me to stay organized.  I often spend a few minutes each day just blasting through emails.  If you don’t use mailbox, you can quickly swipe messages to your archive or trash and scan entire conversations in a chat-like view. It’s a whole new way of handling email.

Last week, Mailbox, came out with an Apple OSX version.  I download it instantly to try it out.  Here are a few things I love about the Mailbox OSX beta version.

1. Swiping.  You can swipe your emails just like on the iPhone app.

2. Looks clean.  This is what I hope Apple does with its email in OS8.  Everything in this program is so clean, and simple.  You will get everything in the app for desktop.  How great is that!

3. Lets you create lists easily in the program.  I love being able to delete an email, archive it, review it tomorrow or next week, or make a to-do list from it.   Every email should have an action item.  That is the way to fly through your emails.

I have been using Mailbox for OSX for the past few days and it is awesome.  I have been flying through emails.  I tend only to check my emails twice a day at 10:30am and at 3:30.  This program has cut my time spending on dealing with emails to a minimum.

The only thing I don’t like about this program is that currently it is only for Apple.  I am sure that they will open it up to windows in the next month.
