I am a huge fan of Bibles with margins.  Every 5 years my goal is to have a Bible full of amazing content that I would put away for one of my kids, and then open up a new one.  My all time favourite Bible with margins is the ESV Single Column Bible in Black.  I love this Bible, and I have been using it for the past 7 years.

The NIV Beautiful Word Coloring Bible  is an ok attempt of a coloring book version of a Bible.  What do I mean by that?  I wish they would combine other Bibles to make this simple colouring book Bible even better.  I wish there were quotes by Timothy Keller, C.S Lewis and other Christian authors.

With that said, this is a great Bible for anyone who is artistic in your ministry.  I gave one away recently to a staff member who is creative and they loved it.  They show it off all the time.  It’s funny.

Here are some things we liked about The NIV Beautiful Word Coloring Bible.

Huge Margins 

There was lots of room for notes on the pages that didn’t have things to colour in.  It’s single column so that is a bonus for this simple Bible.

Lot’s to Colour

There was a ton of different pages and sides to colour.  It really could make you look like the most spiritual person on your instagram feed.  Looks like fun if coloring is your thing.

Simplicity

It’s an easy Bible to use and understand.  Take off the dust cover, and underneath there is a beautiful hard bound cover.

Overall it’s a decent journalling Bible.

I would recommend this Bible to friends who are really into Coloring and journalling.  The coloring might even add an extra element to their devotional life as they memorize the verse as they colour it.  It’s a great Bible, but I am still sticking with my ESV Single Column Bible.
