A To-Do Program every Youth Pastor needs
It is so easy to get swamped with ministry. Do you use a to-do list? It is a great way to stay organized. Things is a highly productive program that will keep you organized. I just picked it up this week and I love this program. It takes a little getting used to, but once you figure it out you will stay prioritized.
One great feature is that you can schedule To-Do’s every week. I am going to try this program for a few months and then let you all know how this experiment goes. You can also get the iphone app that sync’s up the desktop program.
I am sorry for all you pc lovers out there this is only for Mac, iphone, and the ipad.
3 ways to stay organized with things
- 1. Weekly Review: Review your to do list each week and prioritize it for the coming week. Sometimes this will take 30 minutes. If things are not in the right order then you can reorganized the list.
- 2. Morning Reviews: Each morning when you get to the office, or if you are waiting for a meeting start up your computer and look at your to do list. It is a great way of figuring out what is coming up that day. I always forget things so this is a easy way to remember.
- 3. Add throughout the day: When things come up make sure to put them on the list right away. I tend to forget to add them right away and then forget them all together.
