The Best Calendar/Journal

If you don’t clarify your goal, you’ll never identify the best approach. – Andy Stanley

Do you use a daily journal, calendar, or notebook?  One of the best tools that I have ever used is a simple daily, weekly, and monthly calendar   This tool is called the Nomatic Journal and Calendar.

I have been a huge fan of the moleskine calendar for the past few years, but this  Nomatic Journal and Calendar is the real deal.  It’s the best office organizational tool that I have used in the past few years.

The Nomatic Journal and Calendar Features:

  • Monthly Planner
  • Weekly Planner
  • Goal Mapping
  • To-Do Lists
  • Effectiveness Activities
  • Daily Goals
  • Pen Holder
  • Back Pocket

Here are the features that I love about this Nomatic Journal and Calendar.

The weekly planner.

Don’t lose an hour of your week.  Plan it out.  Each Sunday night I will sketch in the week.  It helps me gain perspective on my week, and the critical things that need my attention.  I have created a weekly planner in the printable youth pastor resource(link here).

The monthly planner.

Again, it’s so useful to see the bigger picture.  It’s helpful to see the whole calendar at a glance.  The Nomatic Journal and Calendar does a great job laying this out.  One of the biggest ways I see youth pastors get into trouble is because of their lack of planning.  You can have a great idea, but when you actually put it on the calendar and plan for it, you can really do something special for the students in your ministry.

The daily goals.

This is the icing on the cake for this journal and calendar.  There are little boxes on the bottom of each week or day to check off your three goals for the day.  I love being able to prioritize the day around a few goals.  I find it helps me focus on the tasks at hand.

The Nomatic Journal and Calendar is a great resource for youth workers.  Actually, I wish we created this resource.  It’s so helpful.  If you are one of our friends, expect to get this as a gift in the next year.  We think this will help so many people stay focus and crush their goals.

Are these available in Canada? Or is there a similar product? I don’t want to pay a big border fee or a bad exchange rate.
