Here are a few things that stand out:
1. The class of 2016 watches tv everywhere, but on the Television. TV has changed. I just got rid of cable tv this past year because I don’t need it anymore. I can watch tv for free on different websites like NBC, ABC, and Fox. It is accessible everywhere. This generation is more mobile than ever. How are you working to reach this culture who is constantly connected?
2. Prefers digital textbooks over physical textbooks. Before college students purchase an assigned textbooks they will investigate whether it is available for rent or purchase as a ebook. Ebooks are becoming the norm. How are you publishing your material online? It might be beneficial to publish your volunteer handbook online. Last year, I noticed that when I was training my student leaders that they preferred the digital copy of the book for their ipod touch.
