What apps do you use to take photo’s on your phone?
I just got a new phone with 64gb hard drive, so that means I am ok to take millions of photos, isn’t it? My old phone only had 16gb of space and quickly filled up. Not to mention the fact that my old iPhone 5 had dust under the lenses and couldn’t take a photo that wasn’t blurry. One of the most useful tools a youth pastor can use is his phone. It allows you to create a story that you can share on your social networks. It can be a still image with scripture, an image from the youth ministry night, or anything that you come up with. An image is a powerful thing.
I am always looking for new apps to help me do ministry better. Lately, I was looking for apps that could help me use the full potential of my new phone. Here are the top 3 apps that I found. This is by no means the complete list. If you have any other suggestions, please leave a comment below.

Camera + ($2.99)
This is one amazing app, and it’s worth every cent. Here is what it can do. Seriously, you will take some amazing photos with this app. Buy this app and become a iPhone photography genius.

Touch Exposure & Focus. Set exposure separately from focus. You can now easily control how light or dark your shots come out.
Shooting Modes. Use the Stabilizer to steady your iPhone and get the sharpest photos you can. There are countless uses for the Timer including taking the highest-quailty self-portraits. Capture all the action by using Burst to take rapid streams of shots.
Clarity is one of the biggest breakthroughs to happen to image processing in a long time. This is my usual go to app for photos. The way you can edit every photo is simply amazing. It has tons of different filters and other ways to edit each photo you take.

The problem with VSCO is that it’s a little tricky to first use. Once you get the hang of it, it’s simple. It might take a hour or so to play around with. It’s definitely worth your time to get this app and try it out.
Adobe Photoshop Express (Free)
I remember when this app first came out. I was super excited to download it because it was an adobe product…and it’s free. I used it quite a bit, but after awhile ditched it for the apps above. Some people swear by this app, use it and love it.
